Cleaning washing machine

Got issues with a 5 year old bosch. The drum after a wash is all sticky and full of residue which only comes off with bosch cleaner, nothing else cleans it. As soon as i do another wash the stickiness and residue slime sticks to the whole drum again. I dont know if this is coming off the clothes or from the outside of the drum...any thoughts?

Thanks for reply. Think is I have used so many cleaners but as soon as wash clothes again the stickiness comes back into the drum and then i have to do another service wash. The clothes also dont seem to be  getting cleaned.

If a washing machine gets badly gunged up inside it’s virtually impossible to remove it. Do you use liquid detergent and or do you wash mostly at 30 or even 40 degrees?
