MikeTheRepairer Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 I have a Beko WDX8543130B Washer Dryer. It isn't working on the dryer setting at all. The washer part partly works. When put on a dry cycle it drains, spins then stops, the motor hums and it skips the dry cycle and finishes the whole program without drying anything. The motor still hums but does nothing. I've tried a new pump, pressure sensor and I've checked for blockages. I can't work out what it is. I've removed all the PCB boards and checked for damage and I can't see anything. Ive checked the wiring and I also can't see anything. Could anyone send me in the right direction?
Twizzle89 Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 (edited) I just had this error it was a snapped cable on the (I think temperature sensor) on the heater when you lift the lid off. I unclipped the white block and split it in to 2 pieces with a knife wedge it open. Then pull the metal pin out, stick the green cable through the hole (pushing the snapped green cable out and inserting fresh green cable) Push metal pin back in so it clamps around the green cable slicing it making a contact. Put the 2 parts of the white block back together being gentle and plug back in, hey presto Edited December 17, 2021 by Twizzle89 More info
Blomberg_LRF285411W Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Thank you so much! I had a similar issue with a Blomberg LRF285411W (which is a rebadged Beko WDX8543...). Your post helped me to diagnose and have now got the dryer function 100% working again. By holding down "spin" and pressing "on" it booted the machine into diagnostic mode. Then I pressed "start" until it got to test 6 which span the dryer fan but then gave error E32. For me the issue wasn't that the cable into the connector was broken. The same cable was severed about 20cm further down where it had been getting pinched at a sharp angle. The machine vibrations eventually split the cable. I just had to replace that part of cable and now it's all good. Thanks again! Whitegoodshelp 1
