Samsung eco bubble stops mid-wash

I bought a new Samsung eco bubble in 2016 and now it stops mid-wash and I have to start it manually again. It takes sometimes 5 hours to get through the eco wash. This shouldn't happen to a machine that is less than 5 years old? I had a Zanussi a few years ago that went for 15 years. I think these machines that are made today are all designed to fail  in a short time. The last machine I had was a Bosch and it lasted 12 years (Bosch limit)  Can anyone advise what may be the problem? PCB?  It has to be an electronic problem as the water works are working fine.

Yes the average life of a washing machine now is anything between three and seven years. It's a direct result of manufacturers deliberately keeping prices as low as they possibly can. I wish they would just cost what they cost and were built properly like they used to be. The problem with that of course is that even a cheap washing machine would probably end up costing 6 to £700 and a really good quality one £1500. 

In order to troubleshoot a fault you need to know exactly what it does when it stops. For example does it just completely stop and go dead - and if left indefinitely would stay like that? Or does it stick when it is filling up with water and just keep filling, or does it stick when it is rinsing and just keep rinsing and rinsing and never moving onto the next stage? All of these would have different potential causes.
