Problem with Towels

We have an eco-bubble 8Kg model ww80K5410ww/eu which we have used for over a year. However, we have always had problems with towels. Having tried many different programmes, they always come out hard and stiff and they are gradually being ruined. Any advice would be welcome.

Hello Roger. Do you use fabric softener? If so to make sure that it is being taken down too early Fabric Softener taken out too soon

Also, we find that our towels become stiff when dried outside on the line. My wife usually dries them on the line and then finishes them off in the tumble dryer for half an hour. The tumble dryer generally softens towels up very well.
