Miele W5748 - Water not draining from the Fabric Conditioner Compartment

Hi, first post - thanks in advance for any help given. Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place?

I have Miele W5748. After a wash the fabric conditioner tray is left full with water. It's dispensing the fabric conditioner fine, but the residual water is not draining. I have removed the tray and thoroughly cleaned, and the outlet at the rear of the tray in the bottom left hand corner is clear. Today I have also cleared the nozzles on the roof of the compartment, but they didn't seem too clogged up. I have seen articles elsewhere that are non-specific to Miele and some mention that there should be a tube running from the tray. Mine doesn't have one - but don't know if that's through design or not?

No expert on this, but have you definitely taken everyhing apart in the fc tray?  All of these seem to work using a siphon system, so if you can see a sort of grey plastic cylinder you should be able to take that off and flush it out.
