Drum rocking back and forth

my Beko washing machine made a funny sound and the drum is rocking back and forth but still spins. Any ideas what could be the issue

Hello Nat. Washing machine drum will rock back-and-forth because it is suspended on suspension springs. However, it should be held centrally inside the casing and should not lean backwards or forwards or to one side. If it does check for springs missing or broken that should be holding the tub at the top and check the suspension legs underneath.
