Hoover Optima WWMH168D - Display jumping between programs

Hello,

I recently reinstalled our washing machine as we had to temporarily remove it to get new floors done.  However, now when a program is selected the display jumps between random programs and can land on the incorrect one (for instance, when selecting drain it will choose 29' wash).  Here is a quick video I took of it: https://youtu.be/x8K-bdP88cc

I understand that it is either an issue with the selector switch or front panel pcb module, both of which I can buy as genuine spare parts online and they also seem fairly straight forward to fit.  However, they are both fairly pricey and I was hoping whether anyone had any knowledge they could share on which one it is likely to be?

In case anyone's interested, it was the display pcb. I ended up also ordering the rotary switch and replacing that too for good measure, Still half the price of getting a Hoover Candy technician out (even with replacement parts still under warranty) and tell me that the part needs to be ordered in and installed in two weeks.
