hi,

we have a Samsung P1253S

At the back of the filter Compartment at the bottom is some kind of paddle thing.
it sits on the end of a spindle and my guess is that is mashes cruft around so as not to block the drainage.

the paddle has come off the spindle and makes a horrendous clanking noise as it occasionally catches.

Ive removed and the washes operates fine (On a spin) for now.

Some questions if I may.....

what are the consequences of this thing missing from the washer?

is it repairable? Or replaceable?

is it part of a field replacement kit for a larger component maybe?

any insight, gratefully received.

thanks

Rob

Hi. I might be misunderstanding but it sounds like the pump impeller which if it’s come off the shaft will mean the pump will no longer pump water?

Need a repair or spare parts?

Great,

You are right. Thanks a lot.

Knowing the right terminology helps.

an image search for leads me to match it up exactly.

now I know what’s up I can find spares or help or both.

thanks again

Usually if the impeller has come off you will need a complete new pump.

Thanks

A new pump kit is £40 so I’ll swap it out.

couldn’t find one on the affiliate site above but have found one in the U.K.

Cheers.
