Beko washing machine softener problem

My beko washing machine wmi71641 is repeatedly failing to dispense softener even after removal of the tray and cleaning as per troubleshooting instructions

Hello Derek. Cleaning the fabric softener compartment and tube is only related to when software is being taken away but water is left inside. If the fabric softener is not being taken away at all then it's a totally separate issue which is dealt with here Fabric softener not being taken out of dispenser
