Beko wmb71543w lock?

Beko wmb71543w programme selects but won't start until 2 or 3 attempts of shutting the door. Seems like lock not selecting. Does this sound like the lock is faulty? Is there any way to check before I order a replacement? Thanks

Probably, but it can be caused if the door catch is loose or broken.

All looks OK, how can I check?

If the door latch on the door seems ok it’s most likely to be the door lock
