Bobbydazzler Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Hi... Long story short, I have a Candy GVS1610TH. Error code E03 keeps recurring. I've cleaned out the filter, the sump hose, the waste hose, taken the heating element out and today replaced the pump. After each time, error code E03 appears towards the end of the cycle. What next, apart from a new machine?
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted October 9, 2019 Root Admin Posted October 9, 2019 Hello there. I can't guarantee it applies to your washing machine, but error code E3 on most candy washing machines tends to be about not draining the water. I presume this is why you have done the things you have done so far. However many washing machines will give an error saying it hasn't emptied the water when it clearly has. In these cases the error is completely erroneous. So the first question is, is your washing machine emptying all the water or not? If it isn't draining out properly then there must be some blockage somewhere. But if it is draining out all of the water, but just refusing to go into a spin and displaying the error code then it could be that it is not receiving the signal from the pressure system that the water has gone. The error code system is not sophisticated enough to notice the difference. Have a look at my article here which describes faults on pressure systems in washing machines. But I wouldn't get too involved. If you can't see a simple blockage in the pressure system I would advise getting an engineer. Need a repair or spare parts?
