Lej719 Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 My bosch series 2 washer trips after about 15 seconds of filling with water but when I run a spin cycle to empty the water it works fine. (I had a problem with it not pumping out the water but that was because of some plastic stuck in one of the pipes). I am thinking heating element?

Lej719 Posted June 25, 2019 Author Posted June 25, 2019 Hi. I have not tested a rinse and spin cycle just an emptying and spin cycle will try the rinse and spin and get back to you Asap
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted June 26, 2019 Root Admin Posted June 26, 2019 I'm trying to eliminate the possibility of water somehow running onto electrics causing fusing. If it only trips on wash cycle and not rinse or spin then heater is definitely a suspect Washing Machine Tripping or Fusing The Electrics Need a repair or spare parts? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted June 26, 2019 Root Admin Posted June 26, 2019 As my link in my last reply advises, tripping the electrics is normally a fault you need a specialist insulation test meter for. However, if it doesn't trip on a spin cycle it implies there's nothing wrong with the motor or pump. If it only trips on wash it is commonly the heating element, but if it also trips on rinses it implies water is leaking onto something possibly. Need a repair or spare parts?
