Not starting Cycle

Hi Chaps,

Am new to the forum, I was wondering if you could give me some points on why my Beko WMB61431s won’t start. The display shows the time but does not start, I had a similar problem with the timer counting down and I replaced the bushes and this solved the problem. I have again replaced the bushes, but this time the problem still remains.

What usually happens in the machine calls for water, then it drains and it starts.

but it’s not getting to this stage.

Hello. If the timer is counting down isn't that a delayed start feature?

Think I have found the problem, the door switch is not being made, got a new one on order.

Sorry I just re-read your question. I didn't pick up on the timer counting down being a previous fault not this one. Yes the door lock is a common cause of a washing machine not working at all, but there are many others. Let us know if the new door lock fixes the fault. Hi, problem with my beko washing machine is that once you choose a cycle it makes the usual starting sound and starts then 3 seconds later cuts out like a faulty connection any advice would be appreciated, cheers!
