darrow Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 I need to remove the door on my Bosch WAS24466GB. Two screws hold the hinge in place. Is it safe to remove them or will nuts, or whatever is on the other side, fall inside? I would rather not have to remove the front cover.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted February 14, 2019 Root Admin Posted February 14, 2019 You would need to disconnect the washing machine from the mains. Then remove the front clamp band holding the door seal in place if fitted and then peel away the door seal from the door frame on the casing. This will allow you to put your hand behind whilst unscrewing the screws. You will be able to tell if there is anything to drop down or not. Or you will be able to hold onto it if there is. darrow Posted February 15, 2019 Author Posted February 15, 2019 Thanks. I did what you suggested. In case anyone else has the same question, there are no nuts on the back on the Bosch WAS24466GB. You can safely remove the screws and nothing drops inside. Whitegoodshelp 1
