Classixx6 VarioPerfect program fault

My Bosch Classixx6 washing machine has been perfect for many years but is now not working properly, when it has been rinsing for awhile the "wash" light starts to flash and keeps flashing through the spin program, the clothes now come out wet and with suds on them, I have checked all of the hoses for blockages and had drain pipe off when it's draining and all ok, is my programmer u/s the machine is a type WIM40

It sounds like it's not draining the water properly. Have you checked the pump filter? Washing machine won't drain water out

Hi Andy, yea I've checked and cleaned filter out to no avail, it's trying to wash while it's rinsing and spinning?? As the "wash" light comes on and water is being sent down the powder drawer ? While the " rinse " us on and then when it starts to spin it's still trying to wash ?

Does it seem to be filling up with water and yet draining the water at the same time?
