Stopped mid cycle

Your help please ....  I have an AEG washer/dryer integrated machine LAVAMAT TURBO.   I started my usual wash cycle and later I went to check and noticed that with 11mins remaining the machine just stopped ....   I waited for a bit just to check and nothing ....  I therefore thought I'd drain the water and it started to make the usual noise for draining and then nothing and the timer went down and this continued so I reset and thought I'd spin and again the machine made the right noises the timer went down but nothing ... in either cases I also noticed that the drum did not move.  There is no error code.  I cleaned out the filter.    I removed the clothes and thought I'd try and run a normal programme wash and I could see water fill a little and then nothing the timer would go down and that would be it.  I turned it round to drain it but it would accept this so I had to reset and switch it on and off and then set it to drain and the water disappeared and then nothing, no drum movement and the timer goes down.  I tried to spin it wouldn't accept just going to spin so I had to reset and switch the on and off button and then try the drain.  Again made the right noises but then nothing and the timer would go down .....  

I would be grateful for some advise as to what this could be to help me.
