Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 12, 2018 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 12, 2018 All modern washing machines take twice as long to wash as they used to. It’s because they use a lot less water and electricity. Some may have a “quick” wash but they don’t wash properly unless the laundry is hardly dirty to start with. You could try using option buttons to reduce the time, but if laundry needs a proper wash, you need to use the right wash cycle or it just will not wash them properly. Modern washing machine cycles are designed to take this amount of time to wash properly and economically. Full explanation here - why do washing machine cycles take so long?
