Stephen67 Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 (edited) Hi My hotpoint Aquarius Wmf760p washer seems to have developed some timer problems. When we put it on a fast wash the timer starts running down from 43 mins it counts down correctly to 1 min and then continues to wash for a further 20 mins with the timer still registering 1 min remaining, It then enters the rinse cycle and the timer jumps back to 20 mins where it then continues to count down to the end of the rinse and spin cycle. No error code is shown. Any help would be gratefully received. Stephen Edited July 9, 2017 by Stephen67 I sat and watched the complete cycle through to the end
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted July 11, 2017 Root Admin Posted July 11, 2017 Sticking on the last minute seems to affect a lot of different makes and can be tricky to diagnose. Heating element going open circuit, pressure system faults or blockages or even loading issues are some potential causes. Best get an engineer in really. Need a repair or spare parts?
