Hi, first post on this forum, Im after some advice.I have a Hotpoint WMFUG 942, its only 18 months old and I now have a Fault 08. I have contacted currys who I purchased the machine from and all they could offer was an engineer and lots of ££££. Has anyone on this forum experianced the same issue and if so how was it fixed.

I can't guarantee it's the same for every Hotpoint washing machine but F08 is commonly a heater relay fault inside the pcb Indesit or Hotpoint washing machine flashing 8 times
