HOOVER DYN 8144 D1X No Lights/power

I have a Hoover DYN 8144 D1X washer that has suddenly got no power. Have tried the basic fixes in the troubleshooting guide, the fuse is fine and I have tried a different socket. I don't think it's the door lock or heater as the digital display does not light up. Could anyone tell me if this model has an internal switch/fuse that could be at fault? Or any other ideas please?

As you say the lights and control panel should still light up if the door lock was faulty, but what about the on off switch? Once the on off switch has passed on power the lights/control panel should light up unless there's a serious fault on the main pcb.

So first thing is to check the on off switch is working ok with a meter although if it's not a separate switch and is built into the control panel that might not be possible.
