Svan machine repair

Hi, I have a svan machine approx two years old and need to replace the filter screw at the bottom but have got no joy from the manufacturer are they all standard thread and dimension or are they being particularly unhelpful any advice appreciated

Sounds like one of those badged brands that don't actually make their own appliances. It can be a nightmare trying to get information or spares on them. Is it definitely Svan (not Swan?) There's nothing about Svan on Google but there is a Svan section on 4washerhelp spares with a few parts. I doubt you'll find any screws though. I would expect all screws (apart from on drum pulleys) to be standard right hand thread but obviously the thickness of them vary.
