Blockage

Hello, I've a Bosch varioperfect that's not draining. Checked the filter, removed couple hair clips and small zip but still showing e18 code, checked impeller and it's spinning only thing I can think of is blocked drainage pipe, but to gain access I need to turn machine on its side to go through the bottom. Is it ok to put machine face down? Cheers
