f06 error code How do I?

"I have an Indesit IWE81681 with flashing lights and displaying an F06 error code; I see another user has said she "opened the door manually" - how do I do this please?

This page talks about what to do when the Washing machine door won't open and has a little advice on opening a jammed door but if it's properly jammed it might need the interlock breaking. Some can be opened from the inside but there is no universal instruction as they are all different. A few machines can have a manual release lever behind the pump filter door (mostly Miele).
