Hoover DYN 9166P Program Selection Buttons won't get selected

Dear Experts

I have a washing machine Hoover model DYN 9166P ,,,,its manual is in the link below :

Program Selection Buttons (manual page 12 letter C ) some buttons (i.e sports, wool and silk, Duvet) when I try to choose any one , it won’t get chosen and its LED light jumps to another option ,,,for instance if i click button called “sport” Spin LED lights instead of “Sport” LED

Any advise what should I do for a troubleshooting ?

Not being able to select specific options on specific wash cycles is usually because the washing machine is programmed not to let you select them for that particular wash cycle because it's inappropriate for that cycle. Could it be that?
