Samsung Drain Pump Magnet Cracking

Hello all,

I have just replaced my Samsung drain pump (DC31-000) for the second time in 2 months. The original pump,lasted 6 years. When I took the motor apart, I found the magnet cracked and expanded causing the pump to get stuck. The second pump did the same thing, but in less than 2 months. Does anyone have any idea of what is causes this ?

Could be some object stuck inside machine hitting it and damaging it. Coins or anything metal would do it.
