Hotpoint Wd860 F-01 Fault - Help Needed

Hi,

I'd really like some advice. I have a Hotpoint WD860 with a F-01 fault.

The machine turns on fine, you can select a program. Then as soon as the program starts the pump kicks in and it flashes END and then F-01. The pump remains ON. And you can't turn the machine off extra by the plug.

Any ideas of what could be wrong and whether I can replace the part?

Most Hotpoint F1 errors I can see refer to a faulty motor triac and to check the module and its connections but I wouldn't speculatively replace any pcb due to the expense and the possbility of misdiagnosis.
