Hutchins1933
We have recently purchased a Bosch WAQ28462 Washing Machine and find the instructions supplied are totally inadequate. We have been able find some answers on the Internet. I am sure that we are not the only users who feel we have been sold a gimmicky machine without being told how to use it. Typical of our experience :- (i) the 1400 spin speed appears to be available on a very limited number of programs, but we have no indications which they are . (ii) We are still working to find programs which do not include a "pre-wash" . (iii) We have yet to find out how to do a spin cycle without a rinse. Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted April 29, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted April 29, 2015 I remember when instruction booklets used to be very well produced, printed on good quality paper and very comprehensive. Bosch are practically brand these days so they are clearly cutting down on costs in as many places as possible. The 1400 spin speed is often only available on cottons washes, a surprising amount of laundry is not suitable for spinning too fast. I would have thought very few wash cycles include a pre-wash. And some washing machines do not allow a spin cycle without a rinse. It can be difficult to balance the load when it is set on a spin only cycle but when it has filled up and rinsed first it tends to have more control. It might be worth checking online on Bosch's website just in case by any chance they might have a better online manual but if not you could use the site to contact them and ask specific questions Appliance instruction manuals Need a repair or spare parts?
