Our washer dryer model above is stopping mid cycle with time still left on display.

After draining its not spinning although when it stops I can turn it off and then back to the programme and it will start where it left off

Spin works fine on spin only mode...

Also finding that the Middle of the detergent compartment is filling with water.

This fault happened after I found the drainage pipes were blocked. I've unblocked them in full and washer dryer is draining ok.

This appliance has had a brand new motor and element in the last year and is just over 3 years old. It's also had a new bearing x and 2 new boot gaskets!

I have ran on 90c with bleach 3 times with no washing and ran using Calgon gel too on 60c and 90c where it completed a full cycle once

Model is -wvd245s3gb06

Any advice appreciated...

Andy

Engineer come out said its the circuit board which he said are unusual to go in these. There telling me there no longer made. I'm guessing it wouldn't be an economical repair anyway

Many thanks for the reply, sorry no one answered before, thanks for the update. It sounds like it's been a rubbish machine for you. If the engineer is right and after 3 years you cannot get it repaired because a part is not available then I would suggest that might be something you could be compensated for under the sale of goods act. Manufacturers have to keep functional spare parts available for a reasonable amount of time and if they don't you may be able to claim against the retailer under the sale of goods act. Having said that, it wouldn't be easy, it never is.

Yes your right there rubbish machine it's really noisy too especially on spin. I feel like it's about to take off. After all the repairs it has had under warranty when the motor failed outside warranty I came to an agreement with Bosch that's they pay for the motor £165 but I had to pay the 95 labour charge. This was only 6 months ago but I'm not sure I can be bothered to get into a potential lengthy battle to end up still owning this bag of crap.

After all having 2 young boys under 4 maybe we have got our money out of it. On constantly daily bearing in mind it's a dryer too.

With ref to Miele I'd definitely go for a washing machine with 10 year guarantee and have a separate dryer.
