Hi I have a Bosch Maxx5 / WAA24162GB/11. Its making a knocking when spinning at high speeds (I believe there is something stuck in the plastic drum) & got to the point where I need the front panel off but cannot figure out how it comes off.

I have removed the retaining spring for the door seel, peeled back the door seal, taken off the door, removed the two screws from the bottom of the front panel but it still wont budge.

I can see there are two (per side) white plastic clips that look like the panel should be pushed down but it will not move.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

Jon

I believe you need to remove the actual front panel (with the controls). Remove the screw on the right side, then remove the soap dispenser and screws hidden behind it. Then simply remove the front panel and lay it on top of the machine. Now You should be able to pull the main front panel forward and off. That's how it works for a bosch that my friend has.

Hi. I removed the top control panel but it was the main front panel (with the hole for the door) that i couldnt remove. I'll try again by pulling it forward to see if it works.
Thanks for the relpy
