jono
Due to a lack of spin from our old (6yrs) Zanusi we were eventually driven to consider a new washing machine. We had only recently comletely redone our kitchen with a white theme and at that time the existing Miele range was that yuck creme colour and so was not considered and we stuck with our existing machine. I was therefore happy to see that Miele have now changed to awhite for their appliances. Following further investigation of speification and cost we opted for the W1514. Duly ordered on a friday morning it was delivered that afternoon. We carefully read the instructions and connected up. One thing I wouls say is that it is heavy at 99kg which is a good thing as it has a 1400rpm spin speed. Also it has 4 adhustable feet to ensure that you can get it level without resorting to packers. After a quick set up wash without detergent the machine was ready to go. Impessions after two weeks are fantastic. It is quiet, and the clothes seem brighter and less creased than before. They are certainly drier than before!! All in all a superb product and we look forward to 20 yrs of use. (PS We took advantage of the 5yr free warranty offer as well) Jono
