NEED_UR_HELP Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 sooo.... the turning dial on my washer cracked one day, and ended up basically breaking up bad enough so the whole entire knob / dial piece has came off.... leaving the metal rod exposed.....The rod will not budge or turn no matter what i use for leverage. So my question is , without new parts, is there anyway I can continue to use the machine (i.e. select a load size) without a replacement knob.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted September 20, 2013 Root Admin Posted September 20, 2013 It sounds like the dial broke because the control has seized up or somehow jammed, if so that would need replacing too. NEED_UR_HELP Posted September 22, 2013 Author Posted September 22, 2013 soo... there isnt a way to use the broken selector at all, like wit pliers or anything?
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted September 23, 2013 Root Admin Posted September 23, 2013 Chances are it would break inside but if it's seized up there's not much to lose.
