Indesit Error Code Flashing 8 Times

Please can you tell me how to read the fault code, the light blinks about eight times, then there is a pause, then it blinks eight times again. This seems to be a too simple, is there a set sequence to read the light, different length pauses maybe. Hopefully this will aid the Indesit guy when he turns up.

If it's an Indesit Evolution washing machine then Error code 8 is something to do with not being able to activate the heater relay. In my experience, it's often a faulty PCB as the heater relay is buit into the PCB. This would be an expensive part to replace as you also need to fit a new eeprom chip.
