Zanussi Iz141S Won't Start Cycle

hi all,

I've had a few problems of late with my zanussi IZ141s, a few months months back it began stopping mid cycle showing a fault code (possibly e20 but not 100% sure). however that has recently stopped happening, now the machine will not begin a cycle. on pressing start it makes all the right noises as if it is going to fill but doesn't and then it stops all together. if i shake the machine vigorously then it sometimes gets going but doesn't always complete the cycle.

any help/advice would much appreciated, as i'm trying make the tough decision of repair or replace?
