I have a Creda w220vw washing machine. When I start a programme (any one on the dial) it will run for a few seconds and then all lights go out and stops. If I turn the dial to off and back to the programme about 20 times it may eventually keep running and finish the programme. In between restarting the programme I have to wait about 10 seconds before turning the dial back to the programme again else the lights do not come back on. The door locks ok and the door lock light comes on. It takes in water ok and drains ok if it manages to get to that part of the programme. It turns ok and spins fine when it keeps running. I have pulled the machine out and emptied the drain filter, checked all the hoses. Looked at the wiring and seems ok. Can not see any obvious fault, but it keeps turning off after a few seconds. One thing that may or may not be related is that for a while the machine has been repeating the final spin cycle. So it will do a wash and rinse and then keep repeating the final spin cycle, I have to manually stop the machine. Interestingly if I now manage to get the machine to complete a rinse and spin cycle it will finish the programme correctly. Anyone know what faults causes this model to turn all its lights off?
