  1. Hi, I have a Hoover WMH 168d Washing machine, The drum stopped turning last week so inspected the motor and found one of the carbon brush needed replacing, it started working again but now it doesn't stop spinning when placed on spin cycle the timer display counts down from 7 minutes and sticks on 1 minute continually also speed increases when it hits the 1 minute mark and motor brushed spark, ive found a work around to this is to manually change speed down by pressing spin speed selector button down from 1600 to zero then machine spin cycle will finally finish, the 1 min remaining display will then change too show the end display. also there is a 29 min rapid wash cycle with a 800 spin which works fine but timer now says 30 mins instead off 29 so main issue is spin cycle Ive read lots of forums saying ways to reset programming by unplugging machine at the wall for 2 mins setting cylce and switch on but this hasn't worked for me Hope someone can tell me a fix soon Thx Karl
