That's good news. If the machines are as reliable as we are led to believe then the extended warranties must be a great and inexpensive way for Miele to promote their products.
I would think the 10 year warranty especially goes a long long way in attracting new business from people fed up with paying for repairs/new machines as well as helping to justify the price premium.
I think this is important for most people browsing the stores as it really differentiates Miele from the other brands .Unless you do your research (Washerhelp

) you probably wouldn't understand where all the extra money was going.
I will also be ordering a new washer when the extended warranties are released again.
