Sadly my much beloved and much used machine has died and needs replacing. However its in a built in unit and i will need one the same size or smaller to fit in the gap.

Anyone any idea how wide this machine is (yes i can use a tape measure but would prefer manufacturers spec as their new machines will be built to the same measurements)

There's another thread just started where a member has the opposite problem in that he doesn't trust the manufacturer's specs. He found that they were different when he actually measured them in the store. The only reliable source is your own measurement - maybe some manufacturer's slightly over estimate sizes to be on the safe side. If a maunfacturer quotes a size it is highly unlikely to be even 1 mm higher but it could be a few mm's smaller. If one was even fractionally bigger then people would expect their money back if it didn't fit.
