Hoover Door Hinge Broken

The door hinge on my mother's 18 month old Hoover washer has broken. I can easily remove the door, but I can't work out how to remove the hinge from the door to replace it. I've tried undoing the four screws on the reverse of the door, but I still can't get the door apart to remove the old hinge. Is there a special way to replace the hinge? It's a die cast hinge.

The door is in two halves. Separate them by inserting a small screwdriver between them and gently prizing apart. Once inserted, slide the screw driver round to separate all the way round.
