Dacha Posted December 15, 2018 Posted December 15, 2018 We have Bosch WAE 24361, for 9 years, which already did over 4000 washing cycles for us, and still running strong. We have done some repairs, some on our own, some in shop. We replaced shock absorbers, motor carbon brushes, and motor bearings. Tub bearings seem to be in good shape. Some tedious maintenance cleaning and a bit of descaling had to be done along the line. Curious of other people with similar experiences. Thanks.
Dacha Posted December 15, 2019 Author Posted December 15, 2019 Over 10 years now and another 500 washes. No maintenance work in past year. Any similar experiences ?

Dacha Posted January 12, 2021 Author Posted January 12, 2021 11 years old and about 5000 washing cycles. Had to replace carbon brushes and drain pump this year, and now it is in top shape. Used once Dr. Beckmanns service it washing machine cleaner, which seemed to be beneficial.
Dacha Posted July 19, 2021 Author Posted July 19, 2021 (edited) Drum bearings wore out finally. Can not decide if we should replace drum bearins or just buy new mid range model. One thing i noticed is that new machine drums nowday seem smaller. Edited July 19, 2021 by Dacha
Dacha Posted September 24, 2021 Author Posted September 24, 2021 Guess this is where durability ends. Some clearances developed is who knows where, with loud mechanical noise as consequence. So we decided, new Miele WCA 030. Arriving today. I appreciate Andy's comments about Miele new range, which made me think about it for half a day. But target price range was determining factor. Honestly, if it last 10 years, i will be happy. Whitegoodshelp 1
DirtyLinen Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 My Bosch washer dryer WVD24520GB lasted 13 years, pump failure after 8 years, water heating failure a few years later, then dryer pump failure, now the bearings are gone. I replaced the pump, heating element and thermostat, but the water still didn’t heat. Probably roughly 5,000 wash cycles. I’m not impressed, a family doing two washes a week would see the first failure at 4 years, probably much sooner. That said, it was a fairly cheap unit. Whitegoodshelp 1
