martinsdiana Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Hi everyone! I recently moved in on a rented flat that has a washing machine of a brand I've never heard about, it's a "Respekta WA-6118". I found a few pages of the original manual but there's nothing there describing the programs. I only know that it runs from 1 to 13... I don't wanna risk shrinking my clothes or ruin delicate clothing, so does anybody know this model's programs?
JetSystem Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I might be able to help, but it's not a brand I've ever heard of. Can you post a picture of the control pannel and detergent dispenser so I can see how the programs are set out? Whitegoodshelp 1
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted January 16, 2015 Root Admin Posted January 16, 2015 I've never head of it too. If you can post a picture as suggested by JetSystem we might get some clues but I answered an exact same problem on another thread here which may help - How to use washer without user manual Need a repair or spare parts? JetSystem Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Could be one of those Merloni/Servis made integrated kitchen exclusive washers, like Diplomat et al. Thankfully, those are pretty straight forward to figure out the programs on.
martinsdiana Posted February 8, 2015 Author Posted February 8, 2015 Hi! Sorry it has been so long... The programs are set in this order:1 - 2 ----- 3 - 4 --------- 5 ------ 6 -- STOP -7 --- 8 - 9 - 10 ----------- 11 - 12 - STOP -13 - STOP Can anyone pleaseee make sense of this??
martinsdiana Posted February 8, 2015 Author Posted February 8, 2015 I forgot to take pictures of the detergent dispenser, but it is the 'usual type'... It has two compartments for detergent (the left one is a bit smaller) and one compartment for softener (it's sort of divided in two actually but I usually fill both parts)
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted February 13, 2015 Root Admin Posted February 13, 2015 Hi, without the chart showing which number is which wash cycle it's impossible to do anything other than guess. The advice in the first link I posted should help regarding low numbers being the hotter washers and higher numbers being the more delicate ones. This is a very poorly designed machine (probably old) which unlike modern washing machines that use wash cycle symbols with temperatures and wash action symbols can't be used without an instruction book. JetSystem Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 1 - 2 ----- 3 - 4 --------- 5 ------ 6 -- STOP -7 --- 8 - 9 - 10 ----------- 11 - 12 - STOP -13 - STOP I'm really hazzarding a guess here, but logically, this should mean:1 - Pre Wash2 - Whites 953 - Fast Coloureds 60 4 - Non Fast Coloureds 40 5 - Rinses 6 - Full Spin 7- 12 will be synthetics cycles, again with the lower needs being higher temperatures. You should be fine to use program 3 for bedding and towels and program 4 for clothes. Whitegoodshelp 1
martinsdiana Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 Thanks everyone! I've been doing as you suggested and so far nothing ruined Now I'm pretty sure no3 is 60º and no4 is 40º (I only use those) Thanks for the help! Whitegoodshelp 1
