John Lewis give 2 year guarantee on white goods appliances

Hello, there.

The kitchen in the house we have moved into has a wood laminate floor, unfixed, on top of floorboards. I therefore need a washing machine that is low on vibration. Does anyone know whether the Bosch machines (I'm thinking of no more than 1200 spin) with anti-vibration and noise-reducing features would be a good choice, or a Samsung VRT Plus model?

Many Thanks.

I would always favour Bosch over Samsung for various reasons. The lowest vibration is likely to come with Miele but at a lot more cost. However, Miele will be very heavy too because it's solid. Plus Miele say their washing machines should be on a concrete floor and not on "sprung" floors.

Hi, there. Thank you very much for the advice, that's really helpful. I expect there may still be some vibration with the Bosch as with most machines because of the flooring we have but I think I would be more comfortable with a Bosch if I can't stretch to a Miele. I've been reading up on anti-vibration pads as well just in case.

Many thanks again.
