Hii There,

Does anyone know the purpose for the bowl shaped glass door design of high efficiency washing machines and what function they serve? They basically look like small tubs when removed. I'd really really like to know.

I believe that the door glass shape causes by design the water flow to keep the washing in the middle of the tub.

That sounds right, I see that the water flows down onto the door from a opening above, from there it continues to flow down the the surface of the door. Im guessing from that point the water is deposited inside the drum due to the curvarture of the glass. I wasnt sure if thats the function it served or it was to keep the clothes away from the door.
