utrvp Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 My 5 year old Whirlpol top loading washer has quit draining. I would like to check the pump filter for blockage but cannot find any info on where it is located. There are no removable doors or kick panels on the front of the machine. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted June 24, 2007 Root Admin Posted June 24, 2007 There's a washing machine pump page on Washerhelp for front loading washing machines but top loaders are a bit different. If there isn't a door flap or panel then I can't see how it could have one. There may be one in the sump hose leading to the pump but that's not designed to be customer accessible. aafuss Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Do you know the model number? If so, I could see if there's a manual that shows the filter part's location.
