John Lewis give 2 year guarantee on white goods appliances

Good question :) They are clearly identical in every way unless the wrong photo is featured for one of them. Although the phrasing of the information differs slightly they essentially say the same thing. Hotpoint historically made appliances in different colours and identified them only with a single letter difference in the model numbers. So a white washing machine would have a W at the end of the model number and one in silver would have the exact same model number apart from an S at the end.

The only difference in these model numbers is the M and F, but I don't know what they stand for. They must stand for something. You may need to ask Hotpoint on their site.
