Installing washing machine with non straight pipes

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm considering purchasing and installing a washing machine, but have only one very tight spot that I can install it in in my flat. Insalling in this spot will require me to install the pipes (drainage and water pipes) around the machine. (What I mean is that the pipes will come out of the back of the machine, travel around the front of the machine to the water tap and drain. hence they won't go straight out, but rather twist a little going from the machine.) Would this disrupt the machines work in some way? Can it work this way? Are most machine pipes long enough to go around the machine?

Thank you!

Daniel

Washing machine hoses are smaller than ever. They will only reach taps right behind the machine or right next to it. You can buy 2.5 meter extension hoses though which should work OK.
