New Washing Machine Time! Help Please!

Recommended Posts

Hello

Its time for us to replace our Hotpoint AQGMD 146 washer dryer.

We're in the market for just a washer as we have now got a seperate tumble dryer.

Our budget is around the £350 mark. I've seen the Samsung WF0702WKU for this price and i'm led to beleive Samsung washing machines come with a 5 year warranty.

Is this a decent washer for this price range? Is there something better in this price range that we should consider? We're limited to Silver or black products due to the colour of our kitchen.

Thanks

Pete

If you would consider 5 years for £350 a decent deal then it may make sense to buy, it may well last longer but the 5 year guarantee sounds attractive. I'm not a fan of most machines in that price range and many of the Asian brands don't don't have great aftersales service in the UK. Bosch have a decent reputation for their price range and have a 2 year guarantee but are nothing like as good as they once were. I personally think John Lewis brand (Zanussi's) with a 3 year guarantee and the promise of a better standard of pre and post sales service is attractive.
