Hi, I was trying to find similar problem at this forum but couldn't. Around two weeks ago my washing machine has started stuck in first washing cycle. Machine fills and drains, doing 2-3 spins and again fills and so on. After playing with washing setting I found out that machine works fine if I choose to wash it without heating water. I thought that this is because of limescale on the heating element, but today I took of this element and it looks almost like new. What else can cause this issue? Shall I try to replace heating element? Would appreciate any help! Thanks in advan

I have a Beko 2313 CZ cold-fill standard washing machine. Recently it was stuck mid-cycle and water was VERY hot, even though it was on a 40C cottons programme, oh and the motor was not turning. Motor brushes found to be very worn and I replaced those. It then turned ok, rinsed etc, but still the water was very hot. Next, I checked the thermistor and compared the readings to a new one - same output, but fitted a new one anyway just to be sure; but the same result - the water was still becoming very hot. I then tried on 40C, 30C, and even COLD wash, but water still being heated by the element.

Hi All, I think I have a faulty heating element (or associated relay) on my Bosch Maxx Lifestyle (WAE26470AU). If I disconnect a specific wire on the back of the control panel the cycle seems to proceed normally, but if I leave it connected it cuts out the 240v mains circuit to which it is connected with an RCD fault half a second after the motor engages. It doesn't happen on a cold wash. Can anyone take a look at the pics (with the disconnected wire highlighted) and confirm my theory? Here's a link to the pics (link) with a description below: Front panel. Shows control panel on right hand

Can anyone help me? My Hoover OPH148 is heating up the water on every single washing cycle, even the 30 degrees cycle. The clothes are coming out hot and steaming, and I have ruined a couple of fleeces recently. The water is fed in cold (there is no hot water pipe in our utility room). I can't find any similar problems on the forums. Is this something that I can fix myself? Thank you
