  2. Just replaced my D7 diode and it’s back up and running. Thank goodness for Bob putting in the time to diagnose the fault and also take the time to share his knowledge with us all on here. Legend.

  4. I have a Bosch Serie 4 machine and have recently been experiencing similar marks especially on my duvet covers which have to be sprayed with pre-wash and put back into the machine on a rinse cycle which thankfully removes the marks. I have been cleaning the rubber around the door seal and lip of the drum every time I use the machine but the marks still appeared. 7. That looks pretty severe. At that age it shouldn’t have anything dirty inside it. Washer dryers can cause marks when the laundry gets caught in the heating housing at the top of the door seal. Check around the top of the door seal where the hot air is pumped into the drum. Try using a clean cloth to rub all around to see if you can replicate any black marks. This normally happens if overloaded.

I bought a USB soldering iron as advised on here, I bought the diodes (although ordered 5A by mistake, so had to re-order 2A) - I had the same issues getting the black box out as many on here had - every time I had to for

  9. Hello Jamie. It sounds like it could be the motor that is making that noise. It doesn't sound healthy but there isn't really anything I could get you to check. I would get it checked out by an engineer.
