Just a brief question although I suspect I know the answer. My indesit 1263W will not turn its drum. I have run simple check of all the other items within the unit, solenoids etc and found no fault so I am guessing its either a motor or command / timer fault. I have removed the 6 point connection to the motor and I have a supply of 50 volts on several pins on the start of spin cycle I have then checked that a voltage again around 50 volts is down to the brushes, I am guessing this is an easy/slow start for the motor. I have checked the brushes and frankly surprised myself at how much life there is left in them. Any idea of cost of possible parts because I'm already being …

My 3 yr old Indesit washer has suddenly decided not to spin up to speed on the spin cycle. It washes and rinses ok but when it gets to the fast spin part it wont get up to speed. It tries to speed up for a couple of seconds then seems to cut out, this continues a few times until the controller reaches its stop and the cloathing is left sopping wet in the drum. Would it be a motor problem or a sensor problem?

I have an Indesit WG12 that as of yesterday won't turn the motor. I have checked the carbon brushes and they seem to have plenty of life left in them. Could it be the control module?

My Zanussi Washer Dryer works fine on wash cycle, but 5 minutes into any dry cycle, it comes up with error code E10 (which means a problem with the water inflow). How come?? The water flows in fine for the wash cycle, so I know the supply is OK. Also, why does it need cold water IN for a dry cycle???

My washer stops its cycle at 1 minute left with door locked. Banging on the panel around the door jumps the cycle to CL and the door opens. Its getting harder and harder to open however. Any Suggestions as what might be wrong and how to access the part for repair?

I have an Indesit Evolution 1600 WE16 and have had a fault code of F05 I've restarted the machine and it has completed a cycle without a problem. Bearing in mind the advice given on this site about the dangers of ignoring small problems, can you tell me what this fault code means and whether I need to get someone to look at it? Many thanks for any help.

My 3 or 4 year old Zanussi Jetsystem 1200 (FJS 1225 W) won't spin fast anymore. The drum "kicks" and then idles / chugs at a very low speed when trying to spin. The drain pump is running in the background. The drum spins easily by hand. Running with no load makes no improvement. I have cleaned out pipes, blown down pipes etc and have removed a TINY bit of muck ... but to no avail. I also killed the processor unit by making it wet when I tipped the machine on its side - but 30 minutes of warm hairdryer brought it back to life! The processor relays click at regular intervals during spin mode - the motor jumps into life ... and then slumps as soon as each spin cycle star…

I have an Indesit WD12 washer/dryer. Everything works fine, but it has recently developed a very noisy spin cycle. I understand this is most likely to be the drum bearings. I have two questions. The first is how is it effecting a repair on this machine. I have read another post regarding a WG10 and that sounded like it could be problematic. Do service manuals exist? The second is what would have caused this? The only thing I can think of is that recently when it was moved we lost one of the front feet. We got a new one sent through but the sent a foot that was too large. It meant that the machine is now tilted slightly backwards. It was better than it being unstable b…

Indesit WE 10 Washing Machine Fault Code F02 Could you tell me what this fault code means and if there is anything I could do about it please? When I start a cycle there are a few rotations of the drum and some water comes in the machine. Then the error code comes up. I can drain the water from the drum OK, but the spin cycle or any other cycle (apart from drain) will not work.

I've got a problem with my Zanussi washing machine. History Drum stopped turning during cycle, I checked the motor brushes and they where badly worn so I replaced them. Drum is now turning. The problem is that after the spin cycle, the clothes are still wet. Sounds as if the water is pumping out down the drain, but it seems that spin cycle is very short approx 1min. Got any suggestions???

Looks like I'm not the only one here with a similar problem! Programme 8 had just finished & it went into the Rinse cycle but I stopped it manually because of a weird noise such as car keys making a rattle in the drum. (That turned out to be a pen-knife.) Now can't reset the programme. I Rang Indesit's "speedy" hotline but after 15 mins still can't get it right. I was told to turn Programme Selector knob to any Stop/Reset, wait 5 seconds, then turn knob to the Draining symbol, another wait, machine should be reprogrammed. The flashing red light which should disappear in favour of a slow-flashing light, doesn't - it stays fast-slashing. Any ideas would be most gratef…

Please can you tell me how to read the fault code, the light blinks about eight times, then there is a pause, then it blinks eight times again. This seems to be a too simple, is there a set sequence to read the light, different length pauses maybe. Hopefully this will aid the Indesit guy when he turns up.

My indesit washer will go thru cycles etc but the drum does not turn. I have checked the belt but appears ok. Drum will turn freely so not jammed . . . could it be the motor? - machine is about 7 years old. . . .is it time for a new one?

My indesit washing machine will sometimes not finish spinning. It is always on the final spin this happens, the program dial just starts clicking round. If it is left for a while you can restart it but you may get one load done then it will do it on the second one again. There is a fair bit of water left in the pump chamber located at the front of the machine is this normal? the suspension dampers have oil leaking from them could this cause this? If any parts recommended could you give a price of parts. Cheers.

I have a Zanussi FL1012 washing machine, it currrently will not spin most of the time. I suspect the sensor which detects water level, but it is not 100% clear to me. Washing machine washes and rinses fine. Water pumps out O.K. Washing machine refuses to spin So: (1) Washing machine would not spin. I suspected partial pump failure - it would pump out most of the water but not get the last little bit out. I drained the machine and removed the pump which had hairgrips in it, plus one pipe had a 1p piece acting as a kind of 'butterfly valve'. Put it all back together and checked the spin - working, so spun the wet clothes. Job done. (2) Soon after, the washing ma…

We own an indesit wdg1095 washer dryer that does not get warm on dry mode but the drum turns. I've checked for loose wires so can only assume its the heater or there's no power to it. Im an electrician but not familliar with the insides of washers so any help locating the heater etc would be greatfully received

I was trying to replace the drum bearings in my Indesit washing machine. I managed to take the drum pulley off. I then tried to take the bearing out but I could not. So I tried to take the spider (triangle shaped) out but again it just simply would not come out. It comes a quarter of the way out but it would not come any more. Is there any specific way to take it out? My washing machine is an Indesit WG1034TG model. Please advise. Thanks.
