My friend is buying a SAMSUNG J1253GW/XEU washing machine. Any comments Mr. Washerhelp? I am not keen and tried to persuade him to go the extra mile and get the Miele Premier 520. Again, typical early 20s person. "I'm not paying that for a washing machine!". However, he spent nearly the price of a Premier 520 on a Sony Play Station 3! .......... Priorities??? I said to him "here is a man sat in front of me wearing a £54 Quiksilver hooded top, £60 Oakley Jeans and owns a whole host of other quality clothes. So you buy quality clothes and wash them up in a tin can. Why not buy a BMW and run it on paraffin?" I await the day the Samsung machine requires a service call!

I recently wrote a Whitegoodshelp article asking - Are Samsung Ecobubble washing machines any good? The reviews from Which? were mixed. Samsung and other (essentially) brown goods manufacturers have so far chosen to compete with innovation and features, just like they do with phones and TVs.

So after finally getting my first wash done in my new Samsung eco bubble washing machine. And being told that it didn’t matter which one I used. After the wash and opening the drawer noticed that at least half of the surf powder was still there. When fitted was only connected to the cold water supply. From my previous experience the powder dissolved better in warm water. Would liquid detergent be a better choice? Tia.

We purchased a samsugn top load washer in March of this year (2015). There are all sorts of items listed to wash things like towels, bedding, colors, sports clothing,jeans, heavy duty etc. but no where is there a listing about washing white clothes. I've tries heavy duty wash with hot water and heavy duty with a pre-soak but my whites still come out a dingy grey andeven the newer whites are starting to turn grey. I miss my white clothes getting white. Please help, am I doing wrong? Thanks

My (newly bought) Samsung Eco Bubble washing machine (model WW80J5456FX) makes an unusual sound - like a soft engine rumbling, chugging or clicking inside - in the initial stage(s) of washing, when the water if being heated up. It is not a particularly loud noise, but it is slightly unsettling, especially as the sound is made even when the drum is NOT rotating. So this engine-like chugging coming from inside the machine is heard even when the machine is perfectly still, while the water inside is being heated. Has anyone else encountered that? I’m a girl who has no idea about this stuff, so forgive my clueless-ness as I describe my issue. My Samsung top load washing machine has been giving me a 4E error code for a couple of weeks. I moved in to a new rental home about 2 months ago. The washer worked great in my old house and worked just fine up until a couple of weeks ago. A technician came and looked at the machine. He said the error code had something to do with the fact that my home doesn’t have a “hot water inlet hookup to the washing machine” or something along those lines. He wasn’t much help, and I felt extra stupid and didn’t ask many questions. So basically I’m wondering..…
